Congratulations to Al O’Neill who is celebrating his 25th Anniversary with Quaker Valley Foods this year. Al is one of our Shop Stewards. He also handles all invoicing duties, customer returns, and assists with Q-Trucking equipment issues. Al’s efforts, and the important role he plays in the continued success of this company, is appreciated by all of us at Quaker Valley Foods. Congratulations, Al. This year, John Watkins celebrates 25 years with Quaker Valley Foods. John is one of our many prized drivers who have the distinction of getting our product to each of our customers in a timely and professional manner. The value and singular dedication that John has provided over the past 25 years is appreciated by all of us at Quaker Valley Foods. Congratulations, John. And thank you for all that you do!

Today we recognize Bill Cattafesta for his 25 years of service to Quaker Valley Foods. Bill is our Beef Buyer. His many years of experience in the Beef Industry has made him an exceptionally valuable member of our team! Congratulations, Bill! Bernard Mangum is one of our longest tenured Warehouse Employees. The effort that Bernard has put in over the last 30 years, to continue to make Quaker Valley Foods the leader in the Food Distribution industry, is greatly appreciated by all of us at Quaker Valley. Congratulations, Bernard, and thank you for your years of dedicated service!

Today we recognize Steve Fingeret's 30 years of service at Quaker Valley Foods. Steve is our Pork Buyer and is, as such, our longest tenured Purchasing Agent. Congratulations Steve! Thank you for your many years of service and the many contributions you have made toward the success of Quaker Valley Foods!

Employee Appreciation Month continues at Quaker Valley Foods. On Monday, each employee received a wool ski cap to help get them comfortably through the cold of the upcoming winter. As well, today is Gift Card Wednesday. Twenty-one employees had their name drawn from a bowl, and each were rewarded with a gift card. The $200 Best Buys Gift Card winners included Michael Lewis, Jason Pulaski and Jon Kelcy. The $100 Best Buy Gift Card winners are Gary Hillbert, Joe Cepparulo, Bruce Greenberg, and Ruth Stankiewicz. The $100 Amazon Gift Card winners are Christine Stanley, Ed Sessions, Robert Durkin, Alan Smith, Abimeal Rivera, Jim Stelmach, Michael Boylan, Steve Fingeret, Ed McMenamin, Steve Brunell, Carlos Ramirez-Reyes, Eric Barroso, Joe Doyle, and Tim Melso. It's TV Tuesday at Quaker Valley Foods. As we continue Employee Appreciation Month, three 50" Samsung Crystal UHD Flat Screen TVs were awarded to three lucky employees. Names were randomly drawn from a bowl. Today's winners are Lou Geissinger, Wilmer Billops, and Bernard Mangum. Congratulations to all!

It's Gift Card Wednesday at Quaker Valley Foods! As a special "Thank You!" to each of our employees, all have been given a gift card to a local business. Genci (left) and Min show The Home Depot Cards they received.

As we continue to celebrate our employees this month, today we give special recognition to a very special person. Emma Sutton has been with Quaker Valley Foods for 40 years, making her our longest tenured employee. Emma is the first face you see when you enter our building. Congratulations, Emma, and thank you for your 40 years of service!

Quaker Valley Foods is celebrating our Employees and the terrific job they have done to propel us into our 46th year. As part of this celebration, we have begun awarding randomly selected employees "Grand Prizes," and will continue to do so throughout the month of October.
