This past winter we had the opportunity to work with one of our local builders to provide an exterior facelift concept and addition & renovation layouts for their client. The project is located in Lititz Borough and includes a new front entry with a foyer & porch along with new roof lines to enhance the curb appeal. An improved color scheme was introduced with new materials such as stone veneer and board & batten siding. The new rooflines & material variations enhance the ...existing split-level design and nicely complement the surrounding neighborhood. Through the added foyer we were able to achieve direct access to the existing one car garage. They also desired a rear kitchen addition and sitting area off the master suite. The out of town clients purchased this property as a secondary home which they can come enjoy and be close to family members when desired. This project is currently under construction and we are eager to see the transformation. See more

As spring has quickly passed and we are well into the summer months, our office is as busy as ever providing quality planning and drafting services to our excellent customers. I wanted to highlight another one of our custom home projects that we have recently completed. This home was created for our clients who are moving onto their next phase of life and are looking to experience the one story lifestyle in Lebanon County, PA. The floor plan features a master bedroom with a l...uxury suite and an open living, eating, and kitchen space as seen in the superb interior renderings. The space will be great for both entertaining and relaxing. While the home is a little over 2,100 sq. ft., the design provides easy maintenance, an outdoor patio, a wide front sitting porch, and a spacious one car garage that the customers requested. While the home was designed to be livable entirely on the first floor, we were able to incorporate a guest quarters and extra storage on the second floor. We are very excited to see our clients move into their custom home in the fall! See more

As we enjoy a busy start to our spring season here at Quality Design I’d like to highlight a project we were working on with our clients over the past several months. This nearly 6,500 square foot custom home including an in-law suite is being planned for a couple who is considering building on their lot located in Elizabethtown, Conewago Township. As our clients evaluated their next season of life they desired to have a one story lifestyle as well as the opportunity for an... aging parent to also enjoy this beautiful property. The exterior features angled wall lines and complimentary views from all sides. An earth tone color palette was created to capture an intriguing appearance utilizing composite shakes, Hardie-plank siding as well as masonry finishes. Both open and covered lanai areas allow for outdoor living enjoyment with privacy at the rear of the home. Captivating views of the property are visible from the Master sitting area, panoramic sunroom, custom kitchen, in-law quarters, hot tub, and outdoor living space. We were pleased to be chosen by a local couple to partner with them in creating a one-story lifestyle mountain home that they desire to build at their hunting property located in Woodhull Township, NY. The intentions are to create a permanent residence in place of the existing modular home where they will live and enjoy the beautiful mountain country. Planning was developed in such a way to be accommodating to the sloping hillside and create impressive views of the surround...ing mountain scenery and abundant wildlife. Throughout the drafting process thought was given to creating one-story living as well as outdoor living spaces on the patio and wrap-around porch. Adequate windows were proposed on the front of the basement to capture natural light for the daylight basement which includes a hunting & gun room, billiards area as well as a wet bar. The exterior appearance was proposed to fit well with the surrounding wooded setting. Our clients are excited to move forward with this 3,800 s.f. residence in 2019. See more

As we venture into 2019 we’ve had a very busy start and have been blessed with good projects to provide planning services for. We have started out with this unique and custom multi-family estate that is located in East Hanover Twp., Lebanon County. The goal of this project was to create a Craftsman influenced design that could accommodate three generations within one home. This custom home plan features a main 1 story home for a married daughter and her family, an attach...ed one story in-law quarters for the parents, and a small living quarters for grandmother. Thought was given to capture views of the surrounding farmland and the Blue Mountain range from each individual living quarters. Accessibility and travel flow were imperative for family members to age in place and maintain their own private spaces yet be closely connected. The outdoor oasis areas with patios and decks are proposed to enjoy the view of the future pool and their 10 acre property. The combined total square footage of this estate is just over 5,700 S.F. not including the basement level. Our clients are anxious to join together under one roof! See more
