The Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA) is continuing a multi-year process of preparing and submitting a Master Plan Update to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regarding a feasible development plan for Queen City Airport (XLL) that maintains a safe, efficient, financially sound and sustainable airport facility. Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA) hosted a Master Plan Update Workshop on Thursday to invite the general aviation community to learn about the Master Plan Update for Queen City Airport (XLL) and view the Draft Preferred Development Alternatives in a phased approach. The forecasted demand of general aviation operations and available funding resources from the FAA and PennDOT Bureau of Aviation dictates the timing of the proposed development necessary to maintain the required level of service into the future.
