As Nurse Appreciation Week comes to an end, Queen of Angels Catholic School would like to thank our school nurses for all that they do to make our school community a healthier place for children and families to learn and grow!

Queen of Angels Catholic School end of the year celebration was held at Immaculate Conception Church this morning.We had so much to celebrate and be thankful for this year.Mass started with a baptism of one of our 6th graders, followed by her First Holy Communion. At the end of mass Msgr. Paul and Father John gave a special blessing to three of our teachers who will be retiring this year.

Our fifth grade students recently completed a lesson on the French and Indian War. To cap off the unit, students worked together to play a French and Indian War simulation board game. Lots of strategy and planning took place and fun was had by all!

Today’s Throwback Thursday features pictures from this past school year! Today marks the last day of the 2020-2021 school year...a year in which Queen of Angels successfully provided in-person instruction all year long. Thank you to our AMAZING principal, teachers, staff, parents, and pastors for guiding us through a school year like no other! Enabled by the grace of God, we did it! We pray our community has a safe and fun summer break!

Enjoying Kona Ice after Fun Day!!

Our third and fourth grade students recently participated in a virtual workshop through the Pittsburgh Children’s Museum. These students had the opportunity to master the fundamentals of rocketry and aerodynamics using common household materials. Students then built, tested, and refined their rocket designs by applying the principles of thrust, drag, center of pressure, and inertia. Students had a great time seeing how far they could propel their rockets!
