We're doing it again! Since Mother Nature wasn't kind to us on Mother's Day, the folks at I Made It Markets decided to do a second Neighborhood Flea in May. That's happening this Sunday from 10 - 3 in the Strip District. Same basic location at 26th and Railroad. (The upper lot at Smallman will not be used this Sunday!) Take advantage of the nice weather and spend part of your day in the Strip with Quirk! #Flea #Fleamarket #Quirk #Sunday #vintage ... #upcycled #stripDistrict #strip See more

Sometimes you acquire a piece to redo for your business, and then decide you have to have it! Unfortunately, didn't get before pictures, but the lines of this MCM hutch caught my eye and became the central feature of my renovated office. Love the funky wallpaper backdrop, which inspired the color choice.

We have loved being part of James and Jess' House of Goods in Waynesboro for nearly a year. But today we took out our last new items. We will be closing our space there at the end of April. If you're in the area, stop by! Almost everything is 30%off. Due to some current and upcoming life changes, we need to slow down and step back. Keep your eyes open as we begin to pare down our inventory. In the meantime, here are the two newest pieces. We took a dowdy little vintage suitcase and created a quirky and fun side table. Our favorite, though, is the conversion of a well used stretcher into this cool waterfall coffee table!

I love old silverware boxes. They're sturdy, a great size and come in interesting shapes. Usually the lining gets pulled out, but in this case (excuse the pun), the interior of this midcentury one was too cool to remove. This box would be a great jewelry, art box or valet. The original wooden handle and carved trim is set off by the deep midnight blue paint.

We love doing custom pieces! Tim converted this ho-hum sewing cabinet into a functional and stylish island, custom designed to suit our customer's needs. Happy clients! #customupcycle #kitchenisland
