Selinsgrove Speedway extends its deepest sympathy to the family and friends of No. 77 car owner Al Hamilton. Hamilton's famed car won Selinsgrove sprint car track titles in 1967, 1970 and in 1976 with drivers Bobbie Adamson and Mitch Smith. Hamilton also scored sprint series titles at the track in 2002 and in 2005. The loss of Mr. Hamilton truly is the end of an era in local and sprint car racing history.

USAC RETURNING TO SELINSGROVE IN 2021 WITH EASTERN STORM 410 SPRINTS JUNE 17 and SILVER CROWN BILL HOLLAND CLASSIC AUGUST 8! Selinsgrove Speedway is preparing for the 2021 racing season of 75th anniversary specials and the Snyder County oval has confirmed the return of USAC to the venue again in 2021 for two big shows. The expanded USAC presence at Selinsgrove in 2021 will feature the wild USAC 410 sprints as they make a triumphant return to the speedway along with the USAC ...Silver Crown Series. For the first timer ever, the USAC Eastern Storm tour featuring the wingless United States Auto Club 410 sprints will blow through Selinsgrove Speedway on Thursday, June 17, 2021. The 30-lap, $6,000 to win USAC Eastern Storm event will be the first USAC 410 sprint car race at the track in 50 years! Mitch Smith won the only other USAC sprint car race ever contested at Selinsgrove Speedway back on July 17, 1971. And returning to the track in 2021 after a popular and successful outing for the first time ever in 2020 will be the USAC Silver Crown Series for the second annual running of the Bill Holland Classic. The monster USAC machines will compete in the Bill Holland Classic 75th Anniversary Race on Sunday night, August 8. The anniversary special will go 75 laps in distance and will pay $8,075 to the winner. Shane Cottle won the inaugural Holland Classic this past August. After a great Silver Crown event this season, we are very happy to expand our relationship with Selinsgrove Speedway in 2021, said USAC Executive Vice President & National Series Director Levi Jones on Monday. All of us at USAC are excited to showcase all the best that USAC has to offer at the historic track next season. SELINSGROVE SPEEDWAY RELEASES 2021 410 SPRINT CAR DATES; Eight events set as part of preliminary slate Selinsgrove Speedway has set its 2021 preliminary schedule for the Modern Heritage 410 sprint cars with a total of eight dates and counting. Originally announced to be March 27, the 410 sprint car season debut at the track has now been moved to Sunday afternoon, March 28, at 2 pm. ... The speedway will return one month later, on Sunday April 25 with the traditional Ray Tilley Classic, honoring the winningest sprint car driver in the history of the oval. Already announced, the USAC 410 sprints will invade the speedway for the first time in decades as part of the USAC Eastern Storm tour coming up on Thursday, June 17. The 30-lap, $6,000 to win USAC Eastern Storm event will be the first USAC 410 sprint car race at the track in 50 years! The Pennsylvania Speedweek finale Jan Opperman Memorial paying $7,500 to win as part of the oval’s 75th anniversary season of races is set for Sunday, July 4. Saturday, July 24 will find the 410 sprints competing in the Summer Championship. The 41st annual Jack Gunn Memorial will again feature the 410 sprints in 2021, set to take place on Saturday, August 28. Just one week later, on Sunday, September 5 the oval will host the Jim Nace Memorial National Open Qualifier for the 410s as part of a special Labor Day weekend racing program. And then the super sprint car season at the track will culminate on Saturday night, September 25 with the running of the 39th annual Jim Nace Memorial National Open, again paying $20,000 to win. The event carries a raindate of Sunday, September 26. Additional scheduling details will be released in the coming weeks as work continues on finalizing the 2021 Selinsgrove Speedway slate of action. New clay was recently added to the speedway surface as part of off-season work at the track. DRIVER UPDATE: Dustin Baney, who flipped out over turn one last night in qualifying, is recuperating at home. He is sore but thankfully no serious injuries. Baney got out of his car and was communicating with our EMTS last night. He was taken to an area hospital for observation and released. Thank you for sending prayers and well wishes.

REMINDER that grandstand gates open at 4:30PM for this Saturday's Jim Nace Memorial National Open for 410 sprint cars! Advance ticket holders gate will open at 4PM. No blankets or chairs will be permitted inside prior to gate times. Pit gate opens 4PM. All campers must park in the designated area at the top of the parking lot. Adult general admission for this Saturday's 38th annual Icon Legacy Homes Jim Nace Memorial National Open is set at $30; Students ages 12-17 are $15; Kids ages 11 and under are FREE. Reserved seats for all ages are an additional $2. Pit Passes are $40. Defending event champion Logan Wagner will be signing autographs behind the grandstand from approximately 5 - 5:30 pm.
