The 2020 Bloody Run Canoe & Kayak Classic has been cancelled. The PA Boat & Fish Department is not providing permits due to the COVID-19 virus and we can not hold the event without this. Thanks!

It’s going to be a beautiful day to float down the river!

The Bloody Run Canoe Classic is Saturday, April 28 and a special committee has started meeting with Dakota McClucas event chair (REI/Raystown Canoe Club) to bri...ng it back to its former glory. Already have over 18 vendors and block of South St reserved for festival area. Vendor spaces are free this year! High school clubs are joining in this year to bring back rubber ducky race and face painting! Looking for all of you who have been enjoying the river these past few years to call your friends and join in the competition or just the fun float! And for those who would like to check out the river, but are without canoe or kayak, we are in search of kayak rental businesses or others willing to share theirs. Our portion of the little Juniata is a great asset to this community and should be enjoyed by all! See more

The rain may be falling but as of right now the race is still on for 11:00am. Looks like the rain is to clear. If the thunder and lightning continue we will keep you posted!
