Annie’s Angels are uniquely-skilled volunteers who serve as in-home companions for our older clients who have become more socially isolated and help those clients remain in the homes they love.

Good morning beautiful sisters! I recently posted this to my personal page, but just loved it so much, I needed to share such a great reminder here too! I know that the Lord loves us! The trials He provides us are for us specifically - because they help form us into the women we are meant to be! He is always watching, always knowing, and always helping us through each and every obstacle we go through. He wants us to "win"! Amen to this!! I'm a task oriented person - I want to complete what I need to - and often, I don't take the time to find JOY in what I'm doing - or in the things I encounter while I'm attempting to accomplish the task at hand. But when we take the time to look for it - to feel it - we WILL find "joy in the journey"! I know it! I've seen/felt it! So ladies - how do YOU find JOY? Faith and Values: Peace and Comfort in Trying Times By KEITH WILLS FOR THE MORNING CALL | JUN 13, 2020 | 7:24 AM... I find great comfort in praying to God and listening to his promptings and answers. I know that He loves us and watches over us through all of our challenges. It is often during difficult times that we remember to turn to Him and pray. I also have confidence, peace, and optimism as I hear the guidance received through His living prophet on the earth today, Russell M. Nelson, President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. President Nelson told us in a recent message, My beloved brothers and sisters, we are living in a remarkable age when we constantly see the hand of the Lord in the lives of His children. Our Heavenly father and His son, Jesus Christ, know us, love us and are watching over us. Of that, we can be certain. At the same time, as you are well aware, we are facing a unique challenge. COVID-19 and its resulting illness has affected thousands of lives and interrupted many regular routines. We pray for those who are suffering and for those who have lost loved ones. He continued to thank us for our faith and prayers as we all unite together in Christ. We had a wonderful worldwide fast which people of all faiths (and non-faith) joined in. One of the unique blessings of these difficult times is that we ALL are going through this together. No matter who you see or talk to, we are all struggling through this in our own way. All the more reason to remind each other to turn to Him. Help each other to count our blessings and give thanks, to support, love and care for each other however we can. President Nelson assured us,These unique challenges will pass in due time. I remain optimistic for the future. I know the great and marvelous blessings that God has in store for those who love Him and serve Him. I see evidence of His hand in this holy work in so many ways. So, during these uncertain times, be comforted by this promise from the Savior. He said, ‘I, the Lord, am bound when ye do what I say.’ He closed with a promise to us all, I promise you that joy is always within the reach of everyone who will hear Him and obey his laws. Brothers and sisters, please take good care of yourselves and your loved ones. And look for opportunities to help those around you, near and far. We have the great privilege of ministering to our neighbors wherever they live. He concluded his brief message with optimism for the future and encouraged everyone to strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ. As we look forward to a recovery from this worldwide pandemic, I pray that we will find a stronger relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ, President Nelson wrote. He is our Master Healer. He will heal our broken hearts. He will bestow upon us personal peace and comfort.
