Being happy is a very personal thing, And it really has nothing to do with anyone else.

Attempting to exert control over everything only leads to a rigid existence. Life can start to feel out of control. Being in the flow requires #flexibility. That’s why life will always feel more challenging when you attempt to control it.

In every area where this country is wounded there are people of extraordinary expertise who know how to heal it. But in the vast majority of cases those people ...and projects are underresourced and underfunded. We can’t heal our country if our bottom line goal remains corporate profits. This is particularly tragic in the area of children. When I campaigned I met so many extraordinary childhood experts who do amazing work. But even when they reported success I’d ask how many children in their district who need the help get it, and the answer was almost always 10 %. My most painful memory from the campaign trail was how many elementary school principals told me they have students on suicide watch. If I could have any wish I’d have every American just think for a minute what that means... In one elementary school in Nevada the children had been told there was a presidential candidate coming to visit and they could ask questions. They were totally adorable, very well mannered, and one of them asked, If you win, does that mean you could help us? Last night Kellyanne Conway was on Bill Maher and she said we need to remember all the wonderful things Trump did. One of her primary examples was that he dropped the corporate tax rate from 35% to 23%. There are two starkly different visions of what America should be.

Do you know why you are alive? To give voice and action and physicality to God. To become the grandest version of the greatest vision ever you held about Who You Are. Everything else is beside the point.

What are you doing today? Are you putting energy into the world that advances your life dream, that empowers your life mission, that fuels your life purpose?
