Real Strength Kettlebell Club 28.06.2021

New programming and times for summer break. Get out of your comfort zone and push into one of these time slots, you'll be happy you did:) Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7:30-8:15 am and 8:45-9:30am Starting Monday June 14th.... These sessions will follow a circuit format programmed to challenge you at all different levels. All you need to do is show up and I'll cover the rest.. All levels welcome. It's always rewarding to hear from a client. Even more so when you know that client went out of their comfort zone to "try" something new when they signed up to work with you. The unknown can always be intimidating and messages like these let me know that I need to continue pushing limits and comfort zones. Have you ever struggled with "getting in shape?" Putting in the physical work and "behaving" with your food, but it doesn't get you where you'd expect? In fact you decide to ditch it all after a few weeks or months because it's not working...... This is such a common story. Maybe it's the intensity and frequency that weren't where they needed to be. Maybe the diet needed just a little more refinement...... Don't let this experience discourage another attempt. For most of us average folks, reaching a goal and improving a skill takes time. If you've ever watched your kid learn to play a sport you know what I mean. Tom Brady is a great quarterback, but I bet his first couple months and early years playing nobody could tell he was going to be the superstar that he turned into. This week is all about breaking out of the habit loop that is no longer serving YOU...... Take a look at that habit list you wrote last week, did you write your reasons WHY?? This is huge and needs to be done, so start there if you haven't done that yet Surface level REASONS aren't enough to make YOU dig in your heels and implement change.... -BC it's good for me... -Other people tell me its the greatest thing to do *****These are not good reasons and will often not get YOU far in quest for a new habit***** Put some REAL EMOTIONAL skin in the game with your reasons WHY....This can make the difference between long term success or just a quick attempt to incorporate something you think you want........ If your struggling with ideas or want to put it out there for others to see drop it below

Productive Habits = Goal Attainment Unproductive Habits = Disappointment, Frustration, Perceived Failure Lets talk about how we can usher in some productive habits as we say GOODBYE to the unproductive habits... Start by writing a list of 1- 2 habits you would like to start incorporating on a daily basis. With this list include reasons WHY these habits will benefit you. Aim for 2 or more reasons and keep this list somewhere thats visible. On your mobile calendar as a morning & mid day alert is a great place to start Now lets think about how we can incorporate these habits. Look for a way to "stack" them with other habits that are already engrained in our daily lives. Some examples might be: 1 Drink more water each day - Stack this with a morning habit like preparing tea or coffee. At the same time you are prepping your morning beverage fill a large container with your daily water goal. Done 2Stop late night after dinner snacking - Start by eating your snack with dinner:) Then immediately after brush your teeth. Stacking these activities can help cut out excess calorie consumption and move you towards longer periods of a fasted state which has numerous health benefits. Drop some habits that you'd like to start incorporating below

Increased COVID Testing = Increase in Cases... Yes, but do you know why? Lets take some of the fear out of "positive" test results shall we.... COVID-19 is a virus, like Flu, SARS, Zika, that contains RNA (genetic material). It's this RNA that is being detected with widely available PCR lab testing.
