The Department of Public Works announced today that Mt. Troy Road between Fornof Lane and Lonsdale Street in Reserve Township will close at 9 a.m. on Monday, De...cember 28. Also, the northbound lane on part of the 3200 block of Mt. Troy Road will close. Those closures are required for construction of two support walls, excavation, clearing and grubbing, milling and paving, as well as installation of a rock embankment, erosion and sedimentation control, and guide rail. The restrictions are expected to end in March 2021. To accommodate for the closures, the Port Authority of Allegheny County announced that its 4-Troy Hill bus route will be detoured using Spring Garden Road, Wicklines Lane, and Rialto Street. Reserve Township Remote Public Board Meeting The December 8, 2020, 7 PM, Board of Commissioners meeting held at the Township Office will be closed to the public. If you would like to hear live audio from the meeting, please contact the Township for information. Residents are welcome to submit public comments or questions, which will be read for the record and addressed by the Board of Commissioners. Please submit to manager@ reservetwp. com. All questions/comments must be submitted by Monday, December 7, 2020 before noon to be read at the December 8th meeting.

Reserve Township is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Part Time Code Enforcement/Zoning Officer. The officer will have the responsibility for administering and enforcing provisions of municipal construction codes and other applicable ordinances. Responsibilities may include inspection of construction to ensure compliance with local and national building codes, zoning regulations and contract specifications.
