Retirees Prayer Fellowship

Dad was waiting to hear Mary's prayers at bedtime. But she had been a naughty girl that day and she was troubled. So she said, "Dad, you can go now, I want to pray alone." He asked Mary "is there something you wanted to tell me?" "No Dad" she replied, "you would scold me, but when I tell God, He will forgive me and forget it." Yes, God says, "I will remember their sin no more" (Isaiah 31:34).

You say you are lonely and your heart is sad, Look for another that you can make glad, Sometimes our heartache will come to an end If we give of our love to a lonelier friend.

Oh Lord, I'm glad to start anew To live this coming year for you Because the past I would forget ---- There's too much sin the I regret... I rue each failure and mistake, ... Forgive me Lord, for Jesus sake, And help me reach to what's before--- Loving, hoping, trusting more... And give me patience, courage too, To climb to higher ground with You That I might learn the secret of Abiding always in Your love.... Oh keep me, use me in Your will That all Your plan I will fulfill, Walking close to you each day-- For all this, Lord, I humbly pray.... And may each new year bring to me More constant fellowship with Thee. See more
