Do you know when you need to take a step forward into action, and do you know when you need to take a step back and let God handle it? It can be confusing to know what to do, and it's even more confusing figuring out how these biblical principles work together. Sometimes we are told and shown by example to take initiative and do the work, but other times we are told to have faith in God and relinquish control. We are called to do what we can, and recognize when the outcome of a situation is simply out of our control, having faith that God will work it out in His way. We work TOGETHER with God by having a relationship with Jesus.

Do you rely on "luck" to get you through? Do you think of yourself as a lucky or unlucky person? Sometimes for something to happen in our lives we have to be willing to play our part in God's plan - but are we willing to have enough faith and take steps to have that plan come to fruition and not rely on "luck?" The biggest complaint against Christianity is that when something bad happens we only respond with thoughts and prayers. But what good is that unless we are willing to play our parts and take action? We challenge you (and ourselves!) to not take the easy way out by saying God is going to provide for me, but rather take some action in your life to further His kingdom. How? Start by inviting someone to church!

Our lives are not meant to be lived alone. People always want to be a part of a group because we are meant to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. What groups are you a part of that bring support to your life? Tag a buddy below!
