Morning Walk: Been a while since I posted many photos. Enjoyed a trip to McConnell's Mill State Park in Lawrence County last week and found some great things to shoot. So much beauty around us -- even when the day starts out as gray and wet. Never know what it will turn out to be.

Hello gorgeous. I sure did miss you last week. Nothing like coming home to #Pittsburgh to see the sunrise in downtown during my #MorningWalk. Glad to be back.

My #MorningWalk was very different today. I walked down the hall the KDKA-TV | CBS Pittsburgh kitchen to get ready to make Homemade Payday bars later today on Pittsburgh Today Live at 9 a.m. Will be joined by my friend Bonny Diver to support of her Hair Peace Charity for women who are fighting cancer.

My #MorningWalk was very different today. On the Ash Wednesday #MorningWalk, I focused on some remarkable houses of worship in downtown #Pittsburgh. Impressive designs in any era, but when you consider some were built more that 150 years ago WOW! And even though they are huge churches, some look so small amidst the skyscrapers of the city.

Lesson for the day from the #MorningWalk. Don’t walk past the same thing every day without really LOOKING at it. Case in point: the Union Trust Building in downtown #Pittsburgh. Spectacular architecture outside. Unbelievable beauty INSIDE.

I learned something on my Monday #MorningWalk. Even though the sun may not come up EXACTLY where you might be expecting to see it, it still can be an amazing thing. Here's to you having a blessed day. #Pittsburgh @KDKA

So cold on the #MorningWalk I only grabbed three images. Decided to go with blank and white from the Noth Shore of #Pittsburgh. The sun is shining brightly, so it has to warm up, right?

Today’s #MorningWalk Thursday Theme: People on their Morning Walk. So many people walk around this picturesque city every day. Thought I would share some of what they see on their way. Time for me to get back to the studios of KDKA.

Love sharing #Pittsburgh history through my #MorningWalk images. Today it was an old railroad station you may recognize. Such intricate architecture around every bend and corner. Proof again that new doesn’t always mean better.

You may be sick of scraping frost off your car, but it made for some incredible images on my #MorningWalk at Point State Park in #Pittsburgh. Now back inside to warm up with KDKA.

Friday #MorningWalk took me to Point Park University where I found some really cool lights. Lots of variety and cool shadows cast by the many shapes around the downtown #Pittsburgh campus. Now go be a light for someone else today.

The Thursday Theme for the #MorningWalk after the @KDKA Morning News: Make Black & White images with a color camera. Tried to find monochrome things (and yes, the persistent rain and perma-gray sky certainly helped.)

Only one image to share from the #MorningWalk BECAUSE I want you to enjoy a non-gray day. Almost had to check my camera because there was sun AND blue sky in #Pittsburgh this morning. Love it!

Took a stroll through some dark alleys today on the #MorningWalk after the KDKA Morning News. Thought the black and white added the perfect touch to the grittiness of the soften overlooked parts of #Pittsburgh.
