Working with @swinneyelectric on his project. He prepped the sight, then we dug through the existing driveway to a solid base, dewatered, bridged with ballast and fabric on top, installed the pipe with skirts, back filled and compacted 2A modified in lifts, then graded. It's a little too muddy for a perfect restoration, so some touch up this spring may be in order, otherwise an overall success.

A quick correction to an overgrown swale.

Sent in from another satisfied customer. Their current brick headwalls and round concrete pipe were failing were failing. They were told by their paving company to replace the headwalls and culvert before the driveway is repaved, so that's what we did. We increased the pipe diameter from 30" to 36", pitched it to 1, and added precast wing walls. What does all of this mean? Pipe flow was increased from 141.4 cubic feet per second to 311.4 cubic feet per second. Although it's not visible, there is a rip-rap energy dissipator with a plunge pool to cut down on the velocity head.
