Introducing our newest Rock Steady Boxing coach who is making a difference at our 2pm class in Old Forge - John Palumbo. Let John tell you more.... My name is John Palumbo. I am a certified personal trainer and assist clients with special needs, such as muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, stroke, and weight management. Having attained black belt ranks in the Japanese martial art of Aikido and in the Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do karate, I incorporate martial arts conce...pts, movements and philosophies into my personal training sessions. I am also certified in the Mattes method of active isolated stretching. As a Rock Steady Boxing coach, I feel I can apply my past experience with special needs clients to the dedicated boxers at Rock Steady Boxing. I look forward to helping motivate and encourage those that are fighting back against Parkinson’s. So glad to have you on board, John! See more

Our November Boxer of the Month is Bob Lambert! Bob started with Rock Steady Boxing at our very first Tunkhannock class in June 2019. He has made steady improvements on many fronts. He has demonstrated more range of motion, especially when reaching above head. His jumping jacks have progressed from side stepping to jumping! His speed bag skills have improved. His calming and easy manner is a steady presence in our class! Keep up the great work, Bob!
