On October 23, 2019, Tyler Minnick downed this giant 529-pound Maryland black bear on private land in Garrett County with his .270 rifle. Since our QDMA Mountai...n Monarch's event was postponed for Oakland on Saturday, 3 /21, he took it to John Sagal - (240)727-1932 - an Authorized Measurer for Bucks-Bears-Stags from Allegany County, who scored Tyler's bear at over 21 inches - big enough for inclusion in the Boone and Crockett Club's all-time record book. Once Tyler's pending score is confirmed by one of our BBS measurers who is an Official Measurer for B&C, we will release the Official B&C Score. Stay tuned.
