Attention Families: Since the start of school, the Dallastown Area School District has been focused on the health and safety of our students and staff, while p...roviding three robust learning opportunities. Additionally, the District continues to review daily any COVID-19 related illness and make the necessary decisions to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Out of an abundance of caution and to further mitigate the spread of COVID-19 cases, Dallastown Area Middle and High School, as well as the Dallastown Area School District Wildcat Compass Academy will be physically closed to students beginning Wednesday, November 11 through Wednesday, December 2 to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. During this time, all in-person secondary students will transition to Wildcat Remote Learning. During this temporary physical closure: All other buildings within the District will remain open Secondary teachers and staff will teach remotely from their classrooms Building and Grounds team will conduct a thorough cleaning and sanitization of both schools Specified special education classrooms will continue to meet in-person on the secondary campus All athletics and activities held on the secondary campus will be cancelled/postponed until the afternoon of Wednesday, November 25 Student meals will be available to all students through the Remote Learning Meal Program We ask that you continue to conduct daily symptom screenings at home and if you, your child(ren), or anyone else in your household are showing any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been tested for the virus, please contact your child’s building school nurse immediately.
