Just a friendly reminder, Community Christian Thrift store will be closed July 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Please have a wonderful and safe Fourth of July. We want to thank all those that continue to fight for our freedom. We will open Monday July 5th at our normal hours 10-3.

Please share, we are wanting to get the customers opinion on this. If we were to go back to opening the thrift store from 3 to 6 one evening a week. Do you thi...nk that would be beneficial and would you shop during that time? We are trying to reach out to those that are not able to come in during our regular business hours. We had stopped having this as an option because we had very few customers during that time.. But, with us being so busy lately, and reaching out to more and more customers we are wanting to know if this would be a wise option. See more

Community Christian Thrift Store,,1005 Annisville Rd, Petrolia 16050 will be closed Friday July 2 and Saturday July 3 for the 4th of July holiday. This coming week Monday June 28 through Thursday July 1 everything in the store will be 1/2 off. Clothing remains donation. Please stop out we need to move out items to put out more. Tell your family and friends, neighbors and anyone else you come in contact with. Our hours are 10-3. Any questions send me a message or call 724-894-0072 evening hours will be by appointment. Also we have so many children clothing please if you are in need grab a buggy and fill it up it's all by donation any amount is appreciated and baby bouncy seats, stroller, riding toys etc are donation.

I am super excited for my summer reading and math classes to begin this week. This is a great way for your child to continue reading or doing math. It also help...s them prepare for the upcoming school year. I know I had said the cut off date was last week but due to having so many openings, I am still accepting students in each group. I have spent a lot of hours preparing. I have reading and math groups. If you are interested please private message me. The groups we have for reading are: Harry Potter, Little House on the Prairie, and Junie B Jones. Please, if you are signing your child up, please follow through. Some classes are 10.00 for an hour, some are 15.00 for an hour. Just depends on the amount of students signed up. This is done virtually through zoom. Payment will be through Venmo or PayPal. Or if you live close you can drop it off. For the first week if you don’t have the book, that is OK. A couple of the classes I have extra books. Please remember I have over 17 years of teaching experience. I have two bachelors degrees in education, and my private academic English certification. I have also been teaching ESL for students from other countries for the last 3 1/2 years. Please share if you can.
