If you have been in to see me within the past few months you know I have learned some amazing new techniques that are changing lives! My practice has grown and matured over the years along with my skill set. My skill set is moving away from traditional massage and really rooted in a world wide foundation of skills. I have been studying and mentoring with an amazing doctor who has taught me techniques from around the world that only myself and one other person are trained to... do on the East coast. Female veteran with extreme debilitating anxiety unable to work, socialize or sleep without medication was able to get off benzos, sleep meds and go out to a few friends houses and a walk at Jacobsburg after 1 visit. 2. Going deeper to find the root cause. Muscles usually are responding to an issue higher up. Meaning if you have an issue higher up in the system your muscles will not function properly either. This is why massaging only the muscles usually provides only temporarily relief. Client on the table was having an issue with her right leg and her gait was off. I could have taken the traditional route and just massaged all the normal areas that would make sense in this case but I know better. In the video you will see me test her glute max. It is weak and not connected to the neural circuit. Knowing which circuit the glutes run on I look further into the cause of her glute dysfunction.
