Here is our latest kitchen addition!! This kitchen was outfitted with diamond cabinets, smart core pro flooring, Benjamin Moore paint and custom wood work throughout. The homeowner needed a bigger kitchen so we gave it to them. If you can dream it we can build it.

Here we go! I only took one picture today because I was walking the walls, but, we got all the trusses and purlins set. Tomorrow we’ll do the soffit and facia and Friday the metal will be here! As we finished our current addition/kitchen project the homeowner asked about a carport so we happily obliged! This is day 1 progress of a 24’x24’ carport with 4/12 trusses, metal roof, soffit, and facia. We will leave one gable end open per the homeowners request so that next year he can tear his old garage down and build onto what we built! The trusses come tomorrow so stay tuned! Here are a few pictures of our current project! We built an 8’ x 14’ addition off the home to increase the kitchen size. Then we opened up the marriage wall and demoed the existing space! The homeowner chose to keep the chimney exposed for their antique cook stove! Diamond Cabinets, Smartcore Flooring, Benjamin Moore Paint, Custom Mill Work from top to bottom!!! This roof had a couple challenging lines but we made quick work of it! Synthetic underlayment, Certianteed Landmark shingles, and new counter flashing around the chimney. We’re preparing the mill work for our kitchen addition! In this instance we have to recreate the look of the moldings throughout the rest of the home. Sometimes the most difficult part of our job is blending the plumb, level, and square portion of our new construction to space in the existing home that is not. These pictures aren’t glorious but they show a crucial part of how we achieve a flawless end result. We shim and plane walls, jacked and leveled the existing floor to a seamless transition, replace or refasten framing members that do not pass. The 3 ply structural LVL exceeds the architect and engineer specifications to insure the safety of the family living here and the integrity of the build. Today is our sixth working day at this addition and we’re very pleased with the progress! The roof has been shingled, soffit and facia complete, just waiting on the Mastic Cedar Discovery siding. It was hard to get a good picture with the sun but here are a couple completion pictures of our most recent siding job! The seamless gutters are up and the colors look great! Today we got all the block laid, exterior parged, and bolts in for the sill. Tomorrow we will insulate the foundation, install a vapor barrier, backfill, and begin the floor system. Putting the ridge vent on then we’re all done with this monster roof! Tomorrow the garage doors go in and siding will be replaced on the gable end where we removed the old, dangerous chimney.
