October in the Kowalski Customs 2020 pinup calendar brings us Lena posing with the crank start 1920 Model T racer. I pieced this car together from parts to repr...esent the earliest racing automobiles. Stripped down bare bones stock autos were the normal way to get more speed 100 years ago. This car has been such a blast to zip around the track as it is always trying to throw you out of it. Lol! Strange things to drive as you need lots of coordination to make it work. Its fun to give little kids ride in it. I told one little boy rider that this car was 100 years old. His response was It seems much older I had to agree, haha. We run these old cars with the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing as exhibition at dirttracks around central Pa. And also drag race them at South Mountain Raceway with the Vintage Eliminator class.
