Runway Stables

New for 2021! In the event of any student absence, Runway and your instructor would appreciate notification in advance. Runway does not offer make up lessons or classes for absences that occur because students have conflicts, travel out of town, etc. or due to common place illness. Therefore, each adult student/parent is financially responsible for all lessons regardless of cancellation. This policy and the standards it promotes is out of respect for our staff members and les...son horses, who set aside a specifically reserved time for each student. The instructors cannot give the reserved time away to another student or fill it again consequently s/he/they do not have the opportunity to make up that lost income. Though many students and families attend consistently, some do not; this policy is a way to support our talented and dedicated staff who in turn ensure the sustainability of Runway Stables. Without offering Runway Stable Instructors the protection of reliable compensation, we are unable to retain instructors who realize our core values of access, inclusion, and excellence. What everyone has been waiting for! Camp information for this summer!! $50 nonrefundable deposit it required to hold a spot for your child! Limited number of spots so get your kid signed up ASAP!

We had two kids show up for our work day!! We picked up a bunch of the rocks in the fieldsas a reward/thank you, they got to ride some ponies!!!

Does your child want a horse of their own? Do they realize how much work is involved in caring for a horse? Saturday is suppose to be nice, and we will be having a work day at the barn! This is for kids who love horses but also aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty! Time is 10-2 and we will provide pizza! Please contact Molly with any questions and to sign your kid up!

Last weekend the Girl Scouts came to Runway Stables to work on earning their badge! After they rode Pony, we took her back out to the arena to show them her trick!

Ten years ago, Molly had the privilege of starting this beautiful girl under saddle while at The University of Findlay. Tomorrow she comes back for a visit! We are hoping she can help out our current lesson ponies for awhile!!

Still gets dark early... sometimes it’s cold and windy outside... and we are very thankful for our indoor arena!!
