Now that tax season is over please take the time to check your paystubs for your withholdings. Remember that your earnings are not just your pay, it could be interest, dividends, capital gains, self employment that are not taxed and is added at the time of doing your tax return. So your withholdings need to cover those income items as well or pay estimated taxes on the side. Don’t get caught short next tax season.... I also saw employers screw up on State & Local withholdings as well. It’s your money, watch it carefully. Lastly, if your have Marketplace supplented health insurance that can factor in as well!
