Starting out in commercial real estate was a blessing for many reasons in my career. It taught me many parts of real estate that I’d never have been exposed to in a residential transaction. And it does lack the emotion that a residential transaction incorporates which can have its benefits...but it’s emotion that makes a residential transaction turn more into a transition then a transaction. Nick and Tara purchased a gorgeous home from Sellers that have lived there for ove...r 40 years. It was heart warming to see the relationship built between the Buyers and Sellers, certainly not a common occurrence in every deal. But the intricacies and differences of each deal make real estate so interesting to me and I’m certainly proud to have been apart of helping them find their new home. From Day 2 of Preschool to delivering earnest money deposits...this kid does it all. He even squeezed in an afternoon nap. Best assistant I could ask for!

3 of 4 settlements makes for a busy August...but it hits home a little harder when you're also the seller and it's your first home that's jam packed with memories. Definitely going to miss the Highgate community, all the friends we've made while there and of course...our first home. So much work to get to this point but glad to know we couldn't be handing the keys over to a better, more appreciative couple. Cheers to many more memories in our new home and the memories the new owners will make!
