On Saturday June 19, hundreds of Safe Berks advocates gathered together to celebrate our mission of ending domestic violence and sexual assault. We are so grateful to everyone who supported the Safe Berks Celebration of Peace and the Walk For NO MORE including all our volunteers, donors and sponsors! We have many photos to share, here are a few, thanks to individuals who sent these photos and to Victoria S., Safe Berks Community Educator. If you have photos from these events that you would like to share, feel free to email them to [email protected]. Together we can build a Safe Berks!
Safe Berks stands with all survivors of sexual assault, and we add our voices to this official statement on the decision yesterday to overturn Bill Cosby’s verdict. This statement was released by the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape (PCAR) and the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC): https://pcar.org//pennsylvania-supreme-court-overturns-bil. Safe Berks provides free and confidential services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault 24 hours every day. To request services, call our 24-hour Hotline at 844-789-SAFE (7233) or text SAFE BERKS to 20121.
