While staying safe and healthy can include taking breaks from social media and the news, it's also important to have difficult conversations with children who do not understand what is going on and why, and who might not have the emotional or mental capacity to deal with it without guidance from parents, caretakers, adult family members, teachers, and others who work with children. Here are some tips for how to have those conversations.
