Very happy to announce that Safety First Ambulance has pass it's State Inspection! Big shout out to Kevin Malseed for leading the team through a successful inspection! Also Thank you to those who assisted and helped with this operation, Jay Briscoe, Paolo Paparello and Roman Kourinnoi! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to the Safety First family. Our trucks never looked better and are ready to hit the road!

Birthday shout-out to Brian Gogas! He has been with us only a few months but has already moved up on the ladder at Safety First! This guy can do just about anything ! Glad to have him on our side ! Happy birthday Brian!

On Thursday December 10, Jay Briscoe and Paolo Paparello had the opportunity and honor to meet with some of JeffSTAT students and showcase our Ambulance. They were shown how to use the ambulance stretcher, how to properly lift the stretcher with a volunteer on it, how to use the Stair-chair and they went over on our day to day operation. The students were so receptive and eager to learn, they asked questions and were curious to see how everything operates. ... Overall the event was successful, Jay and Paolo were delighted with showing off the ambulance and being given the opportunity to speak with the students. Also, a big thank you to Cullen Mitchell for organizing and making this event happy. One of my favorite things about being a EMT is being out and about in the world, I get to see new neighborhood and discover new locations all while saving life and getting paid I want to hear from my fellow EMTs, what's your favorite things about being in EMS?

Safety First had a successful quarterly meeting today! Thank you to all staff members for attending today's meeting! All staff that attended will receive 3 CE credits, staff also reviewed PCR Content Review and cover Trauma Triage discussions. Hopefully this will serve everyone well for the future.... Ps. On this day... 19 years ago 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning tomorrow. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift of saving lives. None of them saw past 10:00am Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment life may never be the same.
