SALON 161 COVID-19 UPDATE Due to the increase in local positive Covid-19 cases and the amount of phone calls/messages I am receiving in reference to appointments I thought I would give an update on Salon 161 Covid-19 procedures. *Masks are currently required for anyone over the age of 3. If you are not wearing a mask I assume you have a medical condition that prevents you from doing so. I will be masked at all times. ... *Hand sanitizer and disposable masks are available. *If you are running a fever and/or are showing ANY Covid-19 symptoms PLEASE RESCHEDULE. I would rather be safe than sorry. Symptoms I am hearing frequently from locals include but are not limited to: loss of taste/smell, fever, headache, soar throat, cough, extreme tiredness, back pain, nausea, diarrhea. THIS INCLUDES IF ANYONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD IS SYMPTOMATIC. *If you, anyone in your household, or anyone you have been in direct contact with tests positive for Covid-19 PLEASE RESCHEDULE. *I am only allowed 1 person in the salon at a time. It is a small space, so if someone is still here when you come please be patient. If you would like, you may wait in your car and I can call you or come and get you when I am ready. Please realize I have to disinfect everything between each client entering and exiting, so this requires more patience. I know we all have different view points about this virus and how it’s being handled. I do my best to respect everyone’s stance. That being said, please realize that for me as a business owner, the bottom line is that I have to stick to my procedures. I can not allow someone who is sick or HAS POSSIBLY BEEN EXPOSED to come in as that would force me to close my salon for a minimum of 14 days. I also have 3 children in our school district that we are doing our best to keep healthy. I do not want to be the family that forces others into quarantine and have to deal with the ripple effect of this virus if we can avoid it. I have to protect my clientele, my family, and myself. For the most part you have all been AMAZING and I thank you for that!! I truly appreciate the honesty, communication, and you all wanting me to be able to keep my salon open as much as I do! Just wanted to throw this out there to any of my Salon 161 clients who may want to contribute! Our family is putting this benefit together for my brother-in-law Shawn Rounsville who has recently been diagnosed with an incurable cancer. I’m asking all Salon 161 clients to help me out with just a few procedures throughout this opening process. I know none of us are crazy about ANY of it, but I keep praying if we all do our part we can get back to normal soon! Thank you all for your patience, your support and most of all your loyalty!
