We will be closed today due to snow. This will give time for snow removal and hopefully we will have some parking tomorrow. We will be in touch with everyone who had to cancel and the clients we need to reschedule. Thanks for understanding!

Saw this on growing up in Etown page. This was Salon 40 many, many years ago! Rexall Drug, so cool to see history!

This is a public service announcement for any of my badass babes with fun haircolor... !! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE SPLAT. !! Splat is a fabric dye equivalent. ... Meaning it WILL NEVER COME OUT. It will come out enough to fade onto every towel you own for months and months. It will come out enough to not look like the color you originally started with. But that's it. That's all of the coming out it will do. It will be there everytime you try to color/lighten/tone your hair until that hair is cut off. There are definitely things you can use to keep your color up that are NOT Splat. And NOT KOOLAID. Just ask.

We are all BARBICIDE CERTIFIED, we all have our work areas ready, hand sanitizer and hand washing areas in place, salon freshly cleaned, all materials needed are here to keep a sanitary environment now we wait for the go ahead to re-open!

It's looking like we are now going to have to stay closed until April 30th. Hang in there everyone we miss you all! The newest trend I've been seeing this year is scarves and bandanas as headbands, super cute!

Salon 40 will be doing already scheduled clients the next 2 weeks. We will not be scheduling any new appointments for the suggested not mandatory time frame. We want to keep to the suggestion of 10 or less people in the salon. Please anyone with any kind of illness, do not come in no matter how minimal you think it is, we want to keep everyone as safe as possible. We will be staying on top of all suggested and mandatory information as it comes. If we need to close we will be in touch. If any client feels better to cancel that is ok too, just let us know.
