Sanatoga Swim Club

Due to the poor weather and low temperatures we will be keeping the Sanatoga Swim Club closed for the rest of the day today, Thursday, July 1. Hope to see you tomorrow!

SSC Will be closed today until 1:30 PM due to the weather. We will reassess the forecast at 12:30 and make a decision about the rest of the day at that point. Thank you for your patience.

Exciting news! We will be opening earlier this week! This week our hours will be from 11 am to 7 pm! This starts Monday, Aug. 31st. Please make a note of the change and let your friends know! Also, our last day for the season will be Monday, Labor Day!

Who’s coming to the pool today?!? (Note: Swim lessons for registered students will resume next week.)

The good news we’ve all been waiting for! The pool is filled, the pumps are running, and the chemicals are in range. The Sanatoga Swim Club will be reopening tomorrow (Thursday, August 13) at 2pm! We will spend the morning doing some additional cleaning and tidying up but we are excited to get back open. The pool water lines are still squirting out some dirt once in a while, and we have not had enough time to fully vacuum everything yet. BUT we would rather open tomorrow ...at 80% then to put everyone off another day. So please be patient with us as we continue to work back toward our normal status over the coming week. It’s going to take several vacuum shifts still to get fully back. We have not started refilling the baby pool yet. It will likely be reopened on Saturday. We want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who chipped in to make this possible. Last week after the flood, we all thought the summer was over, but after a few sad hours we committed to working to bring the pool back and over the last week dozens and dozens of people have worked together to make it happen. So thank you to our staff, the volunteers who came to work, those who donated funds, and those who brought meals. The teamwork has been amazing. Thank you! We look forward to seeing everyone out at the pool over the next few days. Thank you again!

Shout out today to the lifeguards and their fearless captain, Julie, who were able to clean and sanitize four bathrooms and the snack bar today to get us ready to open as soon as possible! I guess they want to be back as much as the members do, huh?

Great news! So much progress is being made that we will be open this week, barring any unforseen setbacks! Management and lifeguards are working hard getting everything cleaned and sanitized and we are working on installing the pumps, finishing the filling of the pool, and balancing the chemicals. We will let you know the actual date and time of opening as soon as we are sure all is working properly! (Note: swim lessons are cancelled again this week, but should be back in session next week!)

I know everyone’s wondering when we’re Going to re-open Me too! We’re waiting for PECO to get our power back on so we can get the pumps running Pray for that to happen soon please!
