Dear residents of Sandy Lake Borough, It is with great sorrow that we must inform you that due to no action by the Sandy Lake Borough Council, that effective t...oday, your services have been reduced to fires and wrecks with entrapment only. We will still honor all mutual aid request. This does not effect services in the outlieing areas. We have not even received full payment for services rendered for the 2018 calendar year, and councle states we won't have their decision on next year until early to mid December. I speak for my membership when I say we are sorry it has come to this, we had hoped the council would be more willing to work with us, however after jumping through their political hoops, and turning over every report and record requested multiple times, they won't even negotiate on the matter.
