This is a text between my husband and I while I was still in Dallas for our annual awards. I sent him this picture of me holding my awards and this is the response I got back. I am not a super emotional person but when I read, "Nathan said you are cool", I started to cry. It was the moment where it all came full circle. I began this business to pay for my wedding. Then I have continued to help my family financially. ... It's become something so much more than just finances. Friends, confidence, helping others, and much more. But THIS was HUGE! Showing my children hard work, dedication, that you CAN do ANYTHING you want to and CAN CHOOSE to never stop achieving dreams....that is priceless!!! This post makes me emotional because let's face it- our kids are our world. They are always watching us. This makes me proud. Guys, you CAN juggle it all. You ARE enough. Your children ARE watching and they DO recognize when you're doing something cool. Keep going. Keep dreaming. Keep working. Keep achieving. Keep the passion strong. Keep learning. Keep growing. Never ever stop... because when you do, they are watching.

Today we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary!! I'm so proud of the life that we have created. Did you know that this wedding dress is how #sarathespagirl began? This dress was the first goal of my entrepreneurship. ... I haven't told this story in a really long time so here is how it all started. When I tried this wedding dress on, I immediately teared up. I knew it was the one. I had all the emotions they say you're supposed to have. And when I found out it was $1,200 OVER my original budget...well, let's just say there were MORE emotions added. Guys, I just graduated college. On the job hunt. No extra money stored away. But something weird happened. I all the suddent had the most confidence that I've ever had and told my mom- I can make that money. I know I can. Let's get the dress and I'll finish the payment. Now, I had no clue how I was going to do it. But I truly believed in myself. That week, I went to a spa at my friends house. Loved it. Had a blast. Asked @rhondabeglin how fast I could make $1200 and the rest is history. Funniest part? I told her I was going to quit as soon as I made the money. I didn't want people to think I was weird. (Side note- I hate that MLM has that stigma because it totally changed my life!) Anywho- fast forward 2 weeks later and I literally made $1200. I couldn't believe it! And I was hooked. This dress began my entrepreneurship. And when I walked down the aisle, I know I took his breath away. Thank you @rhondabeglin for sharing the most life changing opportunity with me years ago!

What are your Skincare Habits? I can't tell you how many times people tell me they want clear skin, or firmer skin. Habits are truly what make it happen. Consistency in product use is key. Don't skip the exfoliant.... Don't skip the pm regimen. Don't skip the serums - "I don't need them yet" or "There is nothing that can help THIS skin!" (Trust me, just use the serums! You'll see!) What a whirlwind of a week! Ever feel like that? I finished school on Friday-- and am so proud of myself for surviving a year of teaching during a pandemic! And pray I never have to do that again! ... My son finished first grade which was bittersweet. My daughter graduated preschool and starts kindergarten in the fall. Time is moving SO fast. I love their ages but recognize how fast time is going! Slow down! The hustle and bustle of life is at full force again. I love it. But at times, can get caught in the whirlwind and forget to relax. Ever feel like that? We leave this week for our 10 year anniversary getaway for one week in the mountains. Just the two of us. AND I CAN'T WAIT! Time to relax and soak in nature. Anyone ever been to the Cherokee Mountains? We will be about one hour from Asheville. Any ideas on where to visit?

We had SUCH a fun time unplugging this weekend. Lots of relaxation, laughs, and summer vibes. This weekend we went to one of our favorite cabins. Simple and quaint. I also try to watch how I pack, including my products. These were my must haves this weekend. And in fact, my must haves every time I travel. ... Cleanser Advanced Repair Eye Treatment Biolifting Hydration Serum Replenishing Day Lotion Liquid foundation in Beige Lip Balm They took up very little space in my bag too! Hacks: Use a little cleanser for a full body wash over the weekend. (Love our body wash but was trying to pack light) Use liquid foundation as your SPF on your face! Ours has the active ingredients. Works like a charm! Put a little lip balm on bug bites to help with itching. Not sure why it works, but it does!
