TIDES is continuing to provide support while keeping the safety of others and families in mind.

The State College Food Bank, the State College Area School District (SCASD), and the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank want to ensure that Centre County families have the food that they need for a great Thanksgiving meal. They will be distributing turkeys and groceries for a Thanksgiving feast on Tuesday, November 17. The State College Food Bank serves many area families, and they are already signed up to receive food for their Thanksgiving feast. The Thanksgiving distribution t...hat is being coordinated by SCASD is for individuals and families in Centre County who are not typically clients of the State College Food Bank but could use a little extra help this holiday. The Social Workers of SCASD created a Target registry as an extension to the volunteer google form previously sent out. This registry gives our generous donors of the community a chance to directly help families in need within the school district. If you are interested in donating to our families, please consider the registry. The items ship straight to the Social Workers' offices to be distributed to families.
