A game that makes you more graceful..? The Graces, invented in France in the early 1800s, was popular in the US by the middle of the century. It was a proper ga...me for young ladies, tailored to making them more graceful. But don't worry, boys can play too! Try Graces and other 1800s games, dip and keep a candle, and churn and taste butter at DIY History is Back! THIS Sunday, May 30, 10am-5pm. No need to pre-register; activities are included with cost of museum admission. $12 adults, $10 for children, seniors, and veterans. Free for visitors under five years old. See more

The Scottdale Soccer Club is very fortunate to have such a nice space for our young athletes to play and practice. People are often surprised that this is priv...ate property owned and maintained by the Scottdale Soccer Club. There are many improvements that we would like to make, but like any small volunteer organization, finances are limited. The club spends thousands of dollars every year just to maintain what we have. Starting on April 10, almost every square inch of what appears to be a giant open space will get used to host our in-house players. There will be practices almost every evening and our travel teams will utilize the fields on Sunday afternoons. It won’t take long till you see the areas in front of the goals and the centers of the fields start wearing thin. In order to preserve the fields for our players, any use outside of the Soccer Club is by permission only. Also, for safety and cleanliness factors, dogs are not permitted on Soccer Club property at any time. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us create the best possible playing conditions for our soccer athletes.
