Volunteers needed to help clean up the trail after the July 4th celebrations on Monday, July 5th starting at 10am. Meet under the Walnut Street Bridge where we will have gloves, bags, and trash grabbers. Email us at [email protected] for more info.
Good news--the trail has reopened at Chestnut Street! Thank you Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) for your work on this project and for widening this section of the trail on the south side.

The trail under the Chestnut Street Bridge received its first layer of asphalt this morning! The next layer goes down Wednesday. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) expects the trail to reopen on Friday!

Grays Ferry Crescent opened nine years ago this month! This section of trail is truly a hidden gem with 12.3 acres of lawn and meadow areas, just under one mile of trails, a pier, fishing plaza, and skate park. More info here: https://www.schuylkillbanks.org/landma/grays-ferry-crescent.
