Due to COVID-19, as of today, (March 23, 2020) the City of Philadelphia and Berkheimer have also passed laws to conform with the Federal government and EXTEND THE DUE DATE FOR FILING LOCAL BUSINESS & PERSONAL TAX RETURNS FOR 2019 including all payments, without interest and penalties. The City of Philadelphia has also agreed to extend the due date for payment of REAL ESTATE TAXES for a period of 30 days (without interest and penalties) until April 30, 2020

Our office is officially closed at this time due to the COVID-19 mandates in Pennsylvania. We are closely monitoring the rapidly changing data and facts associated with COVID-19 and the impact it is having both locally and around the world. Taxwise, the IRS and PA have announced that the Federal and State Tax Filing Deadlines have been postponed from April 15th until July 15th for all filings and payments, with no assessment for interest and penalties. And it is expected tha...t ALL State and Local government agencies will conform to the extended due dates if they have not already done so. Our staff is working remotely at our homes, as possible. And, we will be retrieving the mail at the office, on a daily basis, as well as responding to our emails and voicemail messages. We therefore encourage you to: 1. Securely send your information to us via email, or 2. Leave your information in a sealed envelope in the drop-box outside our front office door, or 3. Mail your information to our office, or 4. Postpone your filings until further notice. Please be assured that we are making every attempt to minimize any possible disruption to our firm and our ability to service our clients as we continue to offer the high level of service you expect from us.
