When the plague hit Milan and famine followed, St. Charles worked tirelessly, using his diocese's funds to feed 60,000+ people a day. When the civil authorities fled in terror, he stayed and ministered to the sick and dying. You can read more about his ministry here: https://angelusnews.com//charles-borromeo-a-saint-for-the/

On election day Catholic churches across the country are opening their doors for Eucharistic Adoration. We are joining this effort to bring healing, hope and prayer to our nation through our Lord, Jesus. We are asking parishioners to sign up for one hour of adoration between the hours of 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3. How many cups of coffee have you needed to get you through this rainy day...or even this strange year? While you're thinking of that, make a guess as to which pope tried coffee and was so impressed he refused to ban its sale in Europe. (Some people thought it was dangerous and wanted an embargo.)

For keeping our students, faculty, and staff safe! Our maintenance staff has been working tirelessly to keep our building clean and safe. Mr. Kenny starts his day around 4:30am, using these newly purchased sprayers to disinfect the classrooms, hallways, and stairwells. We are grateful to Mr. Kenny, Mr. Freddie, and Mrs. G for their hard work!
