Picture this. You’re at the deli shopping after a long week. You look around for the perfect meat, but nothing catches your eye. Then you see it. Seltzer’s Lebanon Bologna. It’s the big one and there’s only one left. Looking across the room you notice 5 other people have their eyes on it too. You plant your feet and adjust your mask. This is war. How far will you go for that bologna?

This is a tough sled for all of us. Seltzer's is very thankful for our neighbors at the Caring Cupboard and the amazing work that they do. We couldn't be more pleased than to help them help us give back to our community. Our company is humble by nature, and heritage. So sharing this is not meant to shine on us; we would like to honor and thank the amazing folks and volunteers at the Caring Cupboard. You ALL are doing amazing work in the community!!! Thank you for letting us be a little part of that. :)

We meat again! Seltzer’s is back on social media now that 2020 is finally over. What did we miss?

Dawn Nye retired from Seltzer's in January of this year as the Lead Position in the Seltzer's "Halves" Department. Her retirement came just over 29 years since she joined Seltzer's in November of 1990. The events of early 2020 have gotten in the way of a proper retirement celebration. So without further adieu; we would like to share some pictures and fun facts about Dawn as a placeholder until proper shenanigans can be had. Dawns loves include;... * The mountains with her husband *The beach with her girl friends * Wine * Her grandchildren Gavin, Kierra, Emma, and daughter Becky * Putting puzzles together * Sewing (Dawn has been sewing lots of masks!) And after those near 30 years at Seltzer's; making it ALL THE WAY to retirement; Dawn didn't hesitate to jump right back into service when it was "all hands on deck" time in the 1st quarter of the year. We'll all take more time to share and recount experiences with Dawn when we do get to celebrate her together. These are only a few words in a Facebook post. But if you have warm thoughts or wishes for Dawn we invite you to share them here. You're THE BEST Dawn!!!

Seltzer's would like to take a minute to publicly thank Frank Kettering for his 44+ years of service with Seltzer's!!! Frank was hired in October of 1975 and retired in January of 2020 as the Plant Manager of Seltzer's Lebanon Plant. We have all been looking forward to his proper retirement party. But recent events have made planning difficult. So as we patiently await the party, we'd like to share some fun pictures and notes about Frank. Frank likes going to his grandch...ildren's' sporting events, playing games with his family, holiday family gatherings and birthdays and picnics. Frank is very much about family and loves their company whether he is fixing things, building things from wood or even washing his truck. In his younger years Frank enjoyed playing basketball with his children and other family members on the backyard court. He always enjoys driving up state in PA to see the Fall leaves change color and spend time at a cabin. Family trips to the beach, campfire roasting hot dogs and marshmallows and spoiling the family Yorkie named "Chip" have also been among Frank's favorite activities. Frank and Chip were best buddies until Chip passed about 2 years ago. Frank is always ready and willing to do all he can to help out his children and grandchildren. Retirement will provide ample time another favorite past time; watching movies with his wife Eileen. Frank!!! We can't wait to "do it right" at your retirement party. We hope these thoughts and photos your family shared are as fun for you to see as they are for us to share. :) Thank you for all your years in the Seltzer's family. We will miss the heck out of you here. But we're tickled you have the time now with your loved ones. All the best Frank!!!

Holy Schnikies!!! We don't know where to start. Well, no, actually we do. THANK YOU to all of our AMAZING supporters out there!!! Something like this photo would NEVER happen without the support of all of you. And we have SO MANY terrific retail partners. But we need to send a shout-out to Sam's Club in Hanover, PA. My goodness! An entire door of Seltzer's!!! WOW!!! Seltzer's is so proud to work so hard for all of you! Our staff; all of us, are honored to be here for... you.
