Hello everyone! We hope you all had a merry Christmas. The first match of the year has been changed to 1/17/2021 12:00pm. The Red Dawn match will hopefully have a nice snowy setting. Looks like cold weather with snow flurries on Sunday. Seth and the crew are making us homemade soup to warm up with in the clubhouse. Just a reminder that iron sights and armor are not required to shoot the match, just a means to get a time bonus that may or may not outweigh the self inflicted shooting/movement handicap. I’m considering a gas mask bonus of 20 seconds. Sound off in the comments below if you think that should be a thing. Also a reminder that all shotgun ammo must be birdshot only, no slugs or buckshot. We will be shooting at flying targets and this is crucial to not to endanger our neighbors. Any questions please check our previous post and/or comment below. It’s looking to be a good turnout for Red Dawn!

Greetings folks. It’s almost time for September’s match. This month’s theme is shotgun frenzy! We will be leaving the rifles at home this time, and giving the shotguns the love they deserve. We will have all knockdown steel targets and flying clay pigeons. All steel targets can be shot with either shotgun or pistol. That will balance the playing field out for simple bird guns to magazine fed combat shottys. How you shoot them is up to you! Details are as follows: Match is Sun...day 09/13/2020 at 12:00 noon Ammo count is approximate as it’s up to the shooter to decide which gun to use on the specific targets Shotgun: 25-50 rounds (birdshot only) Pistol: 25-50 rounds Recommend a sling on shotgun for transitions Strong side belt mounted holster Eye and ear protection Match fee is $10 Any questions please ask in comments below Thank you everyone hope to see Sunday!
