Virtual battle drills! On January 28, SFU ROTC Cadets participated in a battle drill lab through zoom! MS4 cadets instructed on react to contact, react to indirect fire, and squad attack from Pierce Hall to our Warrior Battalion cadets at home. These fundamentals will be built on during the rest of the semester and throughout our cadets’ ROTC careers. Next week’s lab: Patrol Bases! For our last hands-on lab of the semester, Brave Company cadets joined Apache to culminate all that they have learned so far into a Squad Situational Training Exercise (STX) Lab! Each squad was given an MS4 instructor and a situation to respond to according to the previous training labs this semester. Brave Company cadets did a great job leading their squads and practicing the tactics they will need for Advanced Camp following their junior years!
