Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) REMINDER TO LICENSEES / May 13, 2020 .... The PLCB issued a reminder directly to licensees (via "PLCB+" e-mail) on May 13th to clarify their Advisory #26 which was issued in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency. Notice was given that under either a "RED" or "YELLOW" county designation / liquor license holders are NOT permitted to conduct inside sales.... That any violation is subject to financial penalties, license suspension and/or criminal citations to those conducting such sales / this would include bar staff and management. It should be noted that the Association has a PLCB "CLUB" license which restricts sales to Association members ON premises ONLY. Under a "CLUB" license; outside sales and sales to non-members are prohibited. Also, operation / use of the club house itself; is subject to provisions of the PA Liquor Code.

2020 SF&G TROUT STOCKING Next Stocking ... The next Association trout stocking will be Saturday, May, 16th. NOTE: this weekend would normally be KID"S DAY. Unfortunately due to the current public health situation; that event has been canceled for 2020. STOCKING @ 11:00am from hatchery truck.... FISHING @ 1:00pm The 2020 stocking program will continue weekly on Saturdays until Father's Day Sunday / June 21st. That will be the last stocking. NOTE: There is NO fishing (dam and creek) from the time of stocking until 1:00pm. SF&G buttons are to be worn while fishing / see an officer on day of stocking if you did not get your 2020 button / membership card.

RINGTOWN VALLEY FIRE & RESCUE 2020 FUND DRIVE: The Ringtown Valley Fire & Recue Company (RVFR) has begun it's 2020 Fund Drive. Mailings have been sent to the residents of the Ringtown area. Please donate what you can. The current public health emergency has had a deep impact on fund raising activities. The RVFR ( along with Nuremberg-Weston Fire Co.) has been a help many time to the SF&G and our fellow members.... They stand ready to help. not only for fire, but vehicle and medical emergencies. If you did not receive a mailing (or live outside the area); donations can be forwarded directly to; RVFR , P.O. Box 243, Ringtown, PA, 17967 . They are ALWAYS there for YOU / be there for them !!!
