The Disc Golf season is quickly approaching! Regardless of the winter, we have seen lots of off-season activity at Ship Rock with such nice weather. With daylight savings pushing dark back, be sure to get out and play in the evenings! We look forward to the 2020 season being another great year! The 2019 Ametuer Disc Golf World Champtionships have now come and gone. What an event! Ship Rock received a multitude of compliments during the week and the tournament ran very smoothly. We are proud of how the course and staff represented the Lancaster Disc Golf community! The upgrades made to Ship Rock this year have really breathed new life into the course. We are extremely proud of what has been accomplished, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the c...ommunity. We’d like to thank all of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and anyone else who contributed support to help make this possible. First and foremost, we would like to thank Lancaster Area Frisbee Sports, the premier local disc golf club of Lancaster. It's day one of Am World's! We'd like to thank our first and longest sposnor - Turkey Hill Dairy. Turkey Hill was Ship Rock's first sponsor at installation 7 years ago, and they were the first to renew their Sponsorship this year! Outside of making amazing ice cream, tea, and other products, they have been a huge help in making this course possible, and we are incredibly grateful. Thank you Turkey Hill!

The 2019 Amateur Disc Gold World Championships start tomorrow! Ship Rock is in tip top shape and ready to go! The new Course Overview sign just went up to reflect all the changes for the year - Remember that all competitors at Ship Rock are playing the SILVER layout. Good luck to all the players this week!

Who's ready for Am World's next week!?! It's going to be a great week at Ship Rock for all those playing, and the course is in the best shape it's ever been! The new tee signs just went up to reflect the new layout and provide better details on the course. We would like to thank GreAT Signs of Bird-in-Hand, PA for producing these for us! A reminder for those playing and practicing for next week - all Am World's divisions are playing the SILVER layout (par 58) for the tournament. Lastly, ensure you are hydrating and staying as cool as possible while the heat wave comes through. Stay safe and enjoy!

Who likes upgrades?? Thanks to the 2019 Amateur Disc Golf World Championships, we have acquired 18 like new baskets for Ship Rock! This was a huge help to make the course better and to help raise funds for the concrete project. Thank you to the Am World's organization and all who came out today and helped make the swap. With that being said, come check out the new baskets and the course! It's looking beautiful these days! Am World's is less then two weeks away so get your practice rounds in soon!

The final 7 tee pads were poured yesterday! We are incredibly excited to finally have concrete pads for the course. Thank to all who helped and donated to the cause! Note: Please stay off the pads until tonight after 4 PM to all the concrete to harden adequately.
