Attention Lately, we have gotten a few calls about scheduling a session as a Valentine's Day gift. So I figured why not discuss the best way to get the gifts you want in the time you need them. Something to keep in mind when considering boudoir as a gift for that special someone is that it may require some foresight. Why? Well, for two reasons!... One, typically, we book out months in advance. As an example, we are currently booking into June/July. January + February are both fully booked (and have been for at least a month). Two, if we include turnaround time for products in hand + if you wanted to take advantage of our flexible payment plans, we would recommend scheduling a shoot for 6 months before you need your products. Now, that's not to say you can't book closer to your desired due date, and get your products on time. However, the best way to solidify we have openings available and you will have your gifts in hand is to book in advance. **Hint hint, if you were considering boudoir as a Christmas gift (I know that sounds crazy right now), the best time to book is now for the summer.

It's officially 2021 And this year I am focusing on mental health (which for me tends to go hand-in-hand with my physical health so we're gonna toss that in there, too). If you're like me, I get better results if I plan out smaller goals to reach larger ones. In fact, I've already set up small daily goals for the next week, and I thought they'd be great to share with you!... Day 1 - Go to bed an hour earlier than normal. Day 2 - Journal 10 things I am grateful for. Day 3 - Spend time outdoors. Day 4 - Get rid of 5 things I never use. Day 5 - NO SOCIAL MEDIA Day 6 - Plan out a vacation/getaway for this year. Day 7 - Call a loved one I haven't spoken to recently. I'm excited to give this a try and would LOVE more ideas for the following week. Drop em below!

That's a wrap! The end of 2020 - who thought we would actually get here? Because, if I'm being honest, there were times this year where I didn't think we would. BUT HERE WE ARE, and I am interested in your GOALS - your dreams - for 2021. ... Personally, I make a "dream board" with the things I plan to accomplish in the upcoming year. I make one for my professional life and another for my personal life. I have a love/hate relationship with the holidays. Crazy? Maybe, but hear me out. I love the feel good, do for others, and general "merriness" that everyone looks forward to, however, I always feel as though there is this immense pressure to buy something for everyone. Then what if I forget somebody and they give me something?... Then there's the cooking, cleaning, deciding who we are going to visit, OR (which happens often in my family) we have to make numerous visits in one day. It is EXHAUSTING, and ruins what I believe to be the actual meaning of the holiday. So while this year has been absolutely insane, I am excited to relax today. HONESTY TIME: Lately, I have been struggling with loving the changes my body has made. It makes me feel inauthentic to preach loving yourself, and yet here I am struggling with that very concept. I had to take a step back and realize that loving your body is an ever-evolving process, and that's why so many women end up becoming repeat clients of mine. Their journey changes and that is something I need to learn to embrace.... My focus this week is to stand in front of the mirror and really LOOK at myself, and name all of the things I see that I love. My rule is to name AT LEAST three things every morning when I'm getting ready. This morning mine was: 1. I love the shape and color of my eyes. 2. I am in love with my hips. 3. Speaking of starting a-new, this week I'm focusing on decluttering my home and my life. You should try it, too! Get rid of those things that do not spark joy or passion within you (and I don't just mean old clothes). If something is no longer serving you - it's time to let it go. Self-acceptance What is it? It allows you to be aware of your strengths (and your weaknesses), as well as your worth despite any shortcomings or past choices.... Why is it important? Accepting yourself gives you the ability to focus on what you were given, and how to embrace it. Instead of comparing yourself to others and being preoccupied with what you may not have. How can you achieve self-acceptance? To be honest, this is not always easy. However, there are definitely things you can start doing today! 1. Be kind to yourself 2. Perform acts of charity. 3. Learn to forgive yourself. 4. Create a support system. 5. Set your intentions.

I've gotten this question a few times lately: "Do I need to bring heels?" Nope! ... Honestly, I mostly shoot women barefoot (my favorite way to be). You are welcome to bring to use for a few photos, but they are NOT by any means necessary. I usually go with - if you do not normally wear heels, don't torture yourself with them. Trust me, your inner goddess doesn't require shoes. See more

Reconnect with your sexual energy! How? The answer is easier than you think! Try connecting with your core via mediation. If you are new to this whole idea, I highly suggest guided mediations focusing specifically on this. You can find a TON of them on Youtube. ... Make sure you're on the move! There's no need to do any sort of drastic exercise regime, but physical movement helps reconnect with your body. I suggest trying some sort of dance because while dancing isn't necessarily sexual in nature - it is fun to experiment with the way you move your body. Practice your breathing. This may seem kind of silly, but the deeper you breathe the more you feel. Focus on the way you breathe, and then take deeper breaths. Trust me, it works. Practice sexual self-care. This can literally be anything - including drinking enough water or eating well. Pretty much whatever you do normally for self-care is you taking care of your sexual being, and are just as helpful here. OR, our favorite form of connecting with our sexual selves - celebrating your body and sexuality in an empowering way. AKA - a boudoir session. See more
