TRICK OR TREATING IN THE BOROUGH OF SINKING SPRING IS ON! 10/31 6-9 PM RAIN OR SHINE! If you would like to participate by giving or getting, take some extra time to make it safe for all by using your creativity to minimize contact.... If you are giving candy out: 1. Turn on your porch light to let the goblins know you are participating. 2. Wearing a mask, meet the kids outside and put the prepackaged treat in each child's bag. Consider setting up a table with the treats on it at the end of your driveway or sidewalk and interacting from a distance. If you are hoping to get treats: 1. Only go to the houses with their porch light on that you decide is safe to approach. 2. Stay with your group. If there is another group at a house, please give them space and a chance to finish before you go to the house. Remember that participation is voluntary. It is ultimately up to you and your family to decide to participate in giving and getting. We want everyone to have fun and be safe doing it!

CENSUS 2020 - FINAL DEADLINE - MONDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2020!! Be Counted! The deadline to complete work on the 2020 Census is quickly approaching. It is important to ensure everyone is counted because the count helps determine how many seats each state gets in the U.S. Congress and how to distribute more than $675 billion in funding to states, counties, municipalities, school districts, and social service programs and organizations. In other words, being counted in t...he Census helps improve our communities, roads, bridges, hospitals, schools, fire and police departments, parks, playgrounds and more. People can be confident that the Census Bureau will not share their information with anyone, including federal, state or local authorities of any kind, including law enforcement, immigration or landlords. There are no exceptions to this law, which is enforceable with five years in jail and a fine of $250,000. If you haven’t already been counted, be sure to visit census.gov or call 844-330-2020 today!
