My old treatment room Skin City Esthetics Studio was established in October 2019. Grand opening was January 2020.... Pandemic began... Closed Skin City in August 2020. That’s the short version of how we got here! I miss my studio, but I wouldn’t change the experience. I learned so much launching my first business. I decided that no matter what it would look like... I would continue to grow my business. I launched Skin City Online in September 2020! Skin City Online began as a beauty & skincare site for consumers... and it was less than two weeks ago that the big idea came to fruition for the future of Skin City. One thing I remember about opening my studio was how incredibly hard it was to find supplies in my favorite color (can you guess what that is?). There was a lack of affordable, fun supplies & equipment for my spa. My local beauty supply stores focused on hair supply, nail supply, and a little bit of waxing supply. I ended up ordering everything online from lots of different sites & sellers. It was a pain! My goal for Skin City Online is to change the game when it comes to esthetics & spa supply! Get ready for fun supplies at great prices... in your favorite colors! I am so excited to grow this business and provide an awesome resource for my fellow licensed beauty professionals.

Hey, Beauty Pros! I’m JoJo, creator of Skin City Online. My first name is Joslin, but I got the nickname in the 5th grade when someone in school realized my first & last name both begin with JO ... I’m a licensed esthetician in the Pittsburgh area, but I’m currently not practicing since the pandemic began! I love champagne & French macarons (why have I never been to Paris?) I currently work 3 jobs to support myself while growing this site. It’s my dream to run my business full-time some day! I was called to the esthetics industry and left a very comfortable career to pursue esthetics school in 2019. Things have been HARD ever since... but that’s how I know it will be worth it I look forward to sharing more with you all and meeting some awesome beauty pros as we grow this community!
