It’s time for another Slickville Lions Club Chicken BBQ on Sunday, October 4th. We will be holding the BBQ at the Civic Center parking lot in town. We are staying close to home and need your support. Hope to see you there!

On behalf of Immediate Past District Governor Dave DeFazio, District Governor Chuck Thompkins presented King Lion Elizabeth Henderson with the PID Cindy Gregg Kid Sight Fellowship. King Lion Liz led the Slickville Lions in a M&M’s fundraiser for Four Diamonds Pediatric Cancer. The Slickville Lions raised $2,100 with this fundraiser! Congratulations King Lion Liz Henderson for this inspiring us with this fundraiser and campaign idea!... The Slickville Lions are proud to serve alongside you! #WeServe

The Slickville Lions Club would like to congratulate Joe Maruca for his win tonight at Jennerstown Speedway. Joe is the son of Slickville Lions Club members Becky and Joe Maruca. Young Joe ends up helping the Club out behind the scenes with a lot that we do. He played a big part recently helping the Club rejuvenate our chicken BBQ grill. Today we celebrate his and his fellow Maruca Motorsports team members success. This is awesome!!!
