Sent on behalf of Dean Jamie Campbell; Good Morning,... I first want to thank you for your support of the 2020 START Conference and the START Informational Session. We could not host such events without your commitment to diversity. At this time, it is my unfortunate duty to inform you that this year’s START Conference and the Informational Session has been cancelled. This decision was not made lightly but solely out of concern for everyone’s safety and health. Though we are not having the conference or informational session this year, I want to remind you that the work of diversity must continue. In this time of strife and unrest our efforts to provide understanding and inclusion in our communities inside and outside of the workplace for diversity in all its facets are more important than ever before. The START Conference has always been and will continue to be a beacon for workplace diversity and inclusion efforts. I urge you to learn more about other cultures and engage with communities that are different from your own. I also ask to continue to be advocates for diverse communities and champions for inclusive spaces among our peers. Please do not let the disappointment of this cancellation stop your quest for learning about and being supportive of cultures that are unique to you. Learn more, engage others, but most of all take care of yourself. Again, thank you for being a part of our START Conference community and for your support of the conference. I look forward to seeing you at the 2021 START Conference! Thank you Dean Jamie Campbell
