Was another great day for team Smokin' Stuff BBQ as Tina Hain and Frederick Hain Jr competed in the SCA Fall Steak Cookoff (DOUBLE) at Lancaster BBQ Supply. Ti...na Hain finished just outside of the top 10 in Steak A & B while Frederick Hain Jr finished 10th place in Steak A and 2nd in Steak B. Congrats to Michele Van Horn Perelka on her 1st place in Steak A and winning her Golden Ticket! Rolfe Garrett finished 1st in Steak B (Congrats) and had already qualified for SCA Worlds passing down the Golden Ticket to Frederick Hain Jr. With that Tina Hain & Frederick Hain Jr have now both qualified to compete in the SCA World Championship this coming March in Fort Worth, Texas! To all my SCA family who got a call on Saturday, Congrats! To team Rockin' Robyn's Championship Cooking Team; Tina and I would like to thank you for your never-ending encouragement and for your friendship. Your team truly exemplifies the real meaning of greatness while still remaining humble! Next week we will be competing in Marietta, Ohio at the Marietta River City BBQ Steak Cook-off (DOUBLE) Then it's back to Lancaster on November 7th for the Smoke Showing Steak Cook-off (DOUBLE) where four team members of Smokin' Stuff BBQ will be competing; Frederick Hain Jr, Tina Hain, Alicia Nicole and Jessie Hain. And then comes the Chill on the Hill in December at Big Dan's BBQ in Catawissa where Smokin' Stuff BBQ will be introducing two new competitors to the Steak Cookoff Association, my son-in-law, Anthony J HS and future son-in-law Evan Hoare. Smokin’ Stuff BBQ will be at the 2020 Fall Craft & Vendor Show at the Manor located at the Tulpehocken Manor, located at 648 W. Lincoln Ave., Myerstown, PA. this Saturday, October 17th. We will be serving our lunch menu from 10AM 3PM. Also, During the month of October, SSBBQ is doing Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) fundraisers at all of our events. We are giving out a pink silicon BCA bracelet, BCA ribbon pin or pink Mardi Gras beads for every $2 donation. 100% of all proceeds raised will be given to the Breast Cancer Coalition located Lebanon.

Had a blast yesterday at Lancaster BBQ Supply as my wife, Tina Hain and I sharpened our BBQ skills at the Bob & Moe BBQ show. Bob Trudnak of BBQ Guru and the famous Big Moe Cason of Moe Cason BBQ rocked the joint showing off their years of BBQ expertise and BBQ humor.

It was an honor to be asked to help support Keystone Hook & Ladder Company No. 1 in their time of need this past Friday evening at the Keystone Hook & Ladder Food Truck Fundraiser. Smokin’ Stuff BBQ had a great night serving our southern style BBQ and we would like to thank all the residents of Myerstown, PA and the surrounding areas who came out to support our brave first responders who give so much of themselves to keep us safe! Sales were none stop from 4PM to 8PM (it was like the line never ended)! Again, thank you all and may the Lord keep you safe during these crazy times!

Smokin’ Stuff BBQ is teaming up with with Wich Way Sandwiches, Scoop Ó Dough, and Bouchette Vineyards to participate in a much needed fund raiser for the Myerstown Keystone Hook & Ladder Company No. 1 this Friday, September 25th from 5PM 8PM. All food vendors will be donating part of their proceeds to Keystone Hook & Ladder Company No. 1 to help them recover from COVID-19 losses due to cancelled fundraising activities. So, come on out and support our brave first responde...rs!!! And while you are there, get some delicious food! Donations of bottled water for our firefighters are also being requested. For every case of water donated at the event, you will be entered to win a variety of gift cards! We will be located at 25 Railroad St. in Myerstown, PA.

Another good day for team Smokin' Stuff BBQ as we competed this past Saturday at the Double Dutch Steak Cookoff SCA event at Meadow Creek Barbecue Supply in Lan...caster, PA. Frederick Hain Jr, took 2nd place in Steak A and 3rd place in Steak B, Tina Hain took 3rd in Steak A, and Alicia Nicole Hain Shipkowski, our oldest daughter, competed in her 1st ever SCA cookoff and placed 11th in Steak A, winning the Wild Child and a stainless steel Meadow Creek SK23 Steak Grill. Congrats to Nate Martin and Robyn Garrett on their 1st place calls and to everyone else who had a call! To the Meadow Creek Barbecue Supply family, thank you for hosting & sponsoring this event.
