We will have our freshly harvested produce. Khalid of Gathered Greens will be here with his microgreens, dried herbs and his lovely artwork! Victoria has made some beautiful holiday greens and sprays that will be for sale! Produce that will be at the Market on Saturday: Lettuce, Cabbage, Potatoes, Broccoli, Turnips, Apples, Winter Squash, and Kohlrabi. We will also have Cider Donuts, Pumpkin Bread, Eggs, Frozen Cider, Frozen Chickens, and Rosemary Plants. Local Maple Syrup, Mighty Cider Wellness Tonic, Honey, Fruit Butter, CBD tincture and CBD salve made from hemp organically grown on Snipes Farm!

Snipes Farm and Education Center seeks a full-time Farm Field Technician for the 2021 season. The Field Technician will work in all field areas of organic production alongside, and report to, the Field Manager. Duties will include (but are not limited to) bed preparation; direct sowing; transplanting; irrigation; weeding/cultivation; cultural practices; pest, disease, & fertility management; and harvesting with the farm team. Varied equipment and machinery use (including smal...l tractors with PTO- & ground-driven implements) is required with on-farm training. A minimum of one (1) full growing season of experience on a diversified produce operation is also required. Willingness to learn from new challenges and an ability to work patiently on a team (which could include volunteers) and solo are essential. This paid position begins April 5 and ends November 19.
